(I'm guessing it was a counting Easter egg book she was obsessed with when she was younger and the Big Numbers song on YouTube.) She started counting to ten when she was 18 months. Then she started doing it in Spanish. (Thanks, Dora!) Now she counts to 29 and then says 100. He counted very carefully: "One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine!"</p> <p>I was so proud! So I said, "What's next, Charlie!" And he shouted out, "FOUR!!!!"</p> <p>$@#$!@#!@#!@</p> <p>Oh well, he can count to 9 and sometimes he can count all the way to 15 or so! But he likes to throw random numbers in there sometimes... I can't tell if he's just messing with me, because of the look on my face when he gets it wrong? Or if he really can't string together the numbers...</p> <p>I'm not too concerned because I feel like he'll figure it out soon! We just practice it when we can, and he seems to be picking it up... I was shocked the other day when he counted from 11 to 17 or so! I didn't realize we ever count that high... they must practice that stuff at daycare.</p> <p>Can your LO count to ten? </p>
