RJ's latest thing is to ask us to open the fridge (he can't open it himself, it's a side-by-side and the handles are too high), open the bottom drawer, pull out a string cheese, ask us to open it, take one tiny bite, and then start the whole process over so he can put the cheese back in the drawer. Pretty cute.

Wow! AHAHA. Charlie is so funny! We have a fridge with the freezer on the bottom too. LO's too young to open it, but she always throws open the door to the pantry.. :P

Thank goodness, no! Our fridge doors are seal pretty tight so he's not strong enough to open yet.

We have the same set-up with the freezer on the bottom. Lala isn't strong enough yet to open it, thank goodness. But when she can, there is a child lock that we can enable on the control panel so that it won't let her open it. My main concerns are with her climbing in or just leaving it open!

DH and I were just saying that it probably won't be too long before the LO can open the fridge or freezer by herself. We'll have to get a lock, too!

Our apartment has one of those fridges with the freezer on the bottom:
http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/bottom-freezer-sg-reviews-ch150.jpg

In other words, Charlie can access the freezer pretty easily. Yesterday he pulled it open, grabbed the ice cream, put it on the counter, and told me: "I want ice cream!!" I guess I should be grateful that he can't open the ice cream container, and can't (yet) reach the drawer with the spoons.

We are gonna have to put a lock on that fridge or something!

Can your LO get food out of the fridge? How do you keep a kid out of the fridge?
