We were just on vacation in a big city where we were walking a lot most days, like 6-8 miles. My oldest just trucked along and didn't complain a single time! My little one did a fair amount of walking too when she got tired of being in the Ergo. Granted, we stopped all the time to go into cafés or check things out, so it wasn't just a death march.

My daughter is only 20 months and not at all fast but she can walk about a mile without complaint. It takes forever but I'm impressed with her stamina!

My oldest can totally do it when he puts his mind to it. Other times he just tries to be lazy.

When we take walks my oldest (almost 4) doesn't want to ride in the stroller anymore, so she walks. I'm always surprised at how far those tiny little legs can walk! How does your LO do walking long distances?
