yeah! he is pretty good. i cook more usually, but every time i ask him to be in charge of dinner he does a good job and usually makes something I never do (home made chicken fingers, buffalo chicken wraps, etc).

He cooks the majority of our dinners and is an excellent cook! He likes to always follow a recipe, which bugs me because he wont improvise or scale down for 2 people. But, I don't really have room to complain, so I don't!!

He can cook alright-he's good at grilling! And if I set a recipe out, he can follow it. Five years ago, he could hardly make anything, so he would help me and I would teach him stuff. Now I feel like our kids wouldn't live off grilled cheese and pancakes if I were out of town :p

My husband can cook quite well if he's following a recipe. He doesn't have the ability to just pull things out of the fridge and create a meal. That's my specialty.

Yes, he can cook most things I can... only he does it so rarely that when he offers I have to have a quick run down of the recipe and process with him so I'm sure he knows what he's doing. There have been times he forgets to chop up potatoes before boiling or measures completely the wrong amount of pasta for spaghetti for example.

Literally nothing. Nothing...doesn't even know how to work a coffee machine or oven.
If I were sick then LO and him would still eat well; they'd eat out or at my parents' or his parents' house. Ugh...he will never want to or get any urge to cook. He's 31.

Yep, he is WAY better a cook than I am, plus he enjoys it! Breakfast is his main thing, and holy cow does he make it well! He also makes lasagne from scratch (including the noodles), and his own tortillas. The only issue I have with him is that he is SO picky that he doesn't like things like steak, seafood, etc. I know he'd be awesome at making things like that, but he won't eat it!

Yes, he can, and he does it pretty well and is experimental, too. However, he totally over-seasons EVERYTHING, so I am trying to teach him that sometimes it's best to let the flavor of the actual food shine through and not just the flavor of the millions of spices he puts on.

Yup, and he loves to. He's actually more adventurous when it comes to cooking than me. Because of him we have made homemade pizza, pasta, sausage, smoked ribs, pulled pork, jerky, pho and the list goes on and on.

He's not a chef or anything but he can follow directions in a recipe. He doesn't have any real intuition in the kitchen though, aside from strictly following directions, so he's always amazed when I make little changes to recipes, haha. I still do most of the cooking, or we cook together, because I enjoy it.

He bakes better than he cooks but that is just due to frequency. Either way, he has a few defaults he cooks and bakes and after that he gets fast food.

He can not! Makes eggs, and pancakes from a mix. I kinda feel responsible because I've literally cooked every dinner since we moved in together, so he's never really had a chance to upgrade his bachelor skills of heating frozen pizza.

We're about to start TTC though, and he said a few days ago "who's going to cook when you feel really sick, and when you're really huge?" haha. So at least he's thinking about it, and has asked to me start teaching him! Should be fun...
