I have a couple of cashmere coats that keep me pretty warm, and stylish. I also have a TNA down parka (the short kind, I can't stand the long ones) and that keeps me warm even when it's lower than -20

I love my puffy jacket with cozy hood from Hollister. Keeps me warm in prairie winter. P.S. I walk ten min to work everyday and works like a charm

I have a down coat from the Bay - I think it's Betsey Johnson - it works for me (but I like the cold and it doesn't bother me too much). I might invest in a warmer one next winter, but only if this one isn't in good shape anymore.

I just bought this coat from Land's end and it's almost too warm for where I live (especially since it's been in the 50s this week!). It fits nicely and looks polished. Plus, the inside of the sleeves and the pockets are lined in fleece and it's extra cozy!

I have a Superdry Windcheater coat, which I got on sale 2 years ago. It's lined with some sort of woolly mammoth stuff and it is SO warm. It's similar to this one.

http://www.superdry.com/womens/jackets/details/40034/hooded-super-windcheater

Other brands that I've seen around here are Montcler (super pricey, maybe find a sale?), Peak Performance, Canada Goose and Fjallraven.

I have a J Crew coat which isn't SUPER warm for outdoor activities and being outside long term but is all I need for commuting -i actually find it's alot warmer than it looks. And it's great on the train because it's not too bulky.

I have my eye on Columbia's turbo down coat. It's not too poofy but felt super warm when I tried it on. I have a columbia 3-1 but it feels so bulky.

My current coat is from Evymama. I wore last year so I could also wear DD1. This year I'm wearing it with DD's full term enormous bump.

My non-mama coats are either Jcrew wool with thinsolate, Fjallraven, or Canada goose.

I have a couple of long, wool coats from Nordstrom and a long down (but not super puffy) coat from LL Bean - which is the warmest coat I have. It's like this one, but without the hood. http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/42358?feat=504735-GN3&page=ultrawarm-coat-three-quarter-length (and I think I might buy this one this winter).

I'm in the market for a new winter coat. I'm mostly focused on warmth rather than style, but I don't want something dumpy either lol. My budget is $300 or so.
