We use canning jars with plastic lids too. We just put them in the top rack and they are fine. We usually have a full load so maybe that’s why they don’t move too much.

What about a dishwasher net? You could put them on the regular rack and then strap them down so they don't go flying. https://www.amazon.com/Boon-B11141-Span-Dishwasher-Net/dp/B017IQZ9P4/ref=pd_sim_468_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=DW2H1BD44Z0YCKVSCN5A

I send my kid's food to school in small canning jars. The one-piece storage lids do not fit nicely anywhere in the dishwasher's tine set-up. We've got the Munchkin and Oxo dishwasher baskets that are marketed for miscellaneous small baby stuff and they help, but, not much. They're really the wrong shape/design for holding more than 2-3 lids at a time and actually getting them clean.

Given all of the Mason jar craze, I thought there must be a ready-made product to solve this. I can't find one. Does anyone know of something built for this problem or have a clever hack that works for you?
