I think being alone in the middle would be harder to manage a LO.</p> <p>We are going to take DS out on our boat for the first time this year and he will be 2 this month. But when I was little I used to canoe with my parents often--and until I was about 3, I sat at the bow in front of my mom's seat. It worked so well!
