I had a Canon Rebel XT for a long time and wanted an upgrade. Ultimately I chose the t2i (since that was the newest in the Rebel series at the time) and I don't regret that decision one bit. For us, it was nice to save money on the camera body and put that money towards good lenses. It's an awesome camera and I bet the t3i is even better, of course. I also wanted to improve on my photog skills more before getting a camera like the 7D. We've heard some good things about the T3i, but I'd love to hear some opinions from bees who actually have and use the camera! </p>
