We have a highlander and it's been fine for ERF, but we only have one LO so far. I've found that the clek foonf actually takes up less space than our infant bucket seat. It is currently behind the passenger seat, which is where my 6'1" husband sits comfortably. The seat is probably less reclined than my husband would like, but he's not pushed that much forward. I think there has been an issue with highlanders after they redid them in 2014 that makes it unsafe to use all three seat belts in the back for car seats and passengers. Also, with most third row SUVs I think it would be pretty difficult to access the third row with convertible car seats in the second row.

We have two in our Audi A4 Avants. I found the type of RF carseat to be a big factor on how much room there is.

I will say that I'm smushed more than I'd like to be in both my CRV and DH's escape. I really just want a couple more inches of leg room. I can still drive, but it's taken some getting used to. I'm 5'11". We have Foonfs and a bucket seat in our car

We are starting to talk about a new car which we would still have when we have a second child. I am trying to figure out some options for us that would fit two kids rear facing and not have us sitting on top of the dashboard. A small SUV would be awesome, we will also consider mid sized sedans. I don't really want anything huge or a mini van. Any ideas? We have always had Fords but they are doing an awful job at being car seat friendly.

We ditched the bucket very quickly this time so we will need space to have a reclined convertible, probably a clek foonf or fllo.
