Any advice for getting the kids into their coats when you're ready to head into daycare/the grocery store/play outside especially if it's freezing or poor weather (it was 38 and raining and snowing and super windy yesterday when we headed into the grocery store, and the car seat and my kid got soaked when I went to get her out). We don't have a van so they can't do it in there. Also any advice for doing this with multiple kids? If you buy them in the offseason they are $40-$60. They cuff well so I buy a size up. I've also purchased two pre-owned. They hold their value well and will last through multiple kids. It’s definitely on the lighter side but I think he’ll be ok to play outside most of the winter in it and eg a sweater or hoodie. I picked up my 3 year old directly from the playground last year and since the car was warmed up from driving there, I just had her take off the coat and sit in her regular clothes. But she refuses to even wear a fleece in the car these days anyway. I pick up LOs while they are playing outside typically. I'd LOVE for the jacket they are wearing on the playground to stay on and then just bring to our car and buckle up (Rather than take off their school jacket and put on a car seat friendly jacket.). So I'm looking for something warm enough to play outside in 40 degree weather - but safe to wear in a car seat. Ideally not mega expensive either. So far, I keep finding jackets that are $100 which I think is too much for a jacket that is being worn for one season (I spend that much for a jacket I wear for 5+ years.)</p> <p>Help! I am so overwhelmed! </p>
