He's in the Frontier, installed with LATCH. He will stay that way until he is 40 pounds, then he will go to Frontier, installed with the seatbelt, and remain in the 5 point harness. When we transition off the 5 point harness and go to the seatbelt, we can "hold" the seat in the car using LATCH. I keep seeing people recommend seats that use latch, especially when you get to phase of using the seat belt path, but how does that work with the new LATCH laws? I imagine that by the time LO is able to use the belt path we will be over the weight limits allowed for latch. Can someone clarify this for me? </p>
