It has a tiny fit insert so that the shoulder strap hight is correct which can be a problem with other brands. The MC has a harness height of 5" whereas most others are 9" The seat is for use up to 70lbs I think so I know that eventually we will need a $50 booster but I thought that would be better than having to buy 3 carseats over time.</p> <p>At 11mo we still LOVE our seat and I have no reservations about using a convertible from birth. Graco seems to have some that can handle up to a 100 lb child! I'd rather get that and use it until then instead of buying a convertible seat, and then having to upgrade again at 65 lbs. </p>
