@Mrs. Deer: I also linked a thread from the boards in that post too - a lot of great suggestions from the boards! I really like including korean face masks in care packages because they are really lightweight, feel great for pampering, and are cheap (about $1 for one sheet!) - like this pack.. you can package a few and keep some for yourself! http://www.amazon.com/Dermal-Korea-Collagen-Essence-Facial/dp/B00BAM7F8C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415655109&sr=8-1&keywords=korean+face+masks

A gift certificate to a local takeout place, grocery delivery service or a house cleaning would be my favorites. But whatever you get the thought is really sweet and just knowing there someone out there is supporting and acknowledging her while she's busy I think is a nice feeling too.

Hmm, I think something to occupy her toddler is a good idea....maybe a DVD or a floor puzzle?

Something for her, like good smelling bath products (sugar scrub?), cozy maternity pjs, or a good smelling candle?

I think no matter what you get her, the thought will go a long way!!! You are such a thoughtful friend!

@mrs.shinerbock: house cleanings a great idea!

@Mama Bird: I think a toy that occupies her son a bit is a good idea!

@Pancakes: she has a babysitter (who's currently sick - part of why she's currently exhausted) but that should work for the future so she can run out!

Does she have someone to watch the toddler while she goes to get a pedicure? If so, then I think pedicure or massage would be great!

Maybe some light reading would be good, especially if you've read a really funny book lately! Or maybe a toy that would occupy LO for some time, so she can sit down and relax.

If she has someone to watch her LO, a massage or something would be awesome... otherwise the ticket would just rub it in that she can't get a break.

I don't know if they do this, but a gift certificate to care.com or a local babysitting service? Or a house cleaning?

@Mrs. Deer: Mrs. High Heels wrote a great blog post about sending a care package to her friend!

Pedicure sounds great, maybe a massage or spa place too?

A friend of mine is struggling right now and I would love to send her a little care package. Her husband was stationed and deployed on the same ship as my husband and they got to be good friends. Even though she and I have only met once, after we both moved away to our next station we've kept in good touch through calls and texts. We're kind of each other's confidant with parenting struggles, especially we're in the same boat as far as being the first of our friends to have kids.

Anyway, she's in her third trimester right now, her husband is gone for a few weeks, and she has a toddler who's trying to escape nap time. She's struggling and I want to send her a little something. Any gift ideas? I was thinking some bath products, yummy chocolate… maybe look up a pedicure place near her house? I would love some more ideas!

Thanks ladies :)
