I, too, read the negative reviews on it. It's not cheap either so I opted not to get it. I also imagined LO would be more willing to be strapped into a car seat since he's familiar with it.<br /> I don't think it's required to have any additional restaraints other than the lap belt provided. We don't want to bring a car seat on the plane so I am looking into this restraint system but there are some negative reviews on Amazon and people saying that some airlines won't let you use it anyway. My LO will be 2 years old when we fly. Is the regular seat belt sufficient? </p>
