I like the hardwood floors (with an area rug in the living room), but one thing I wasn't prepared for is how much NOSIER my house is with hardwood as opposed to carpet. I have indoor allergies, and carpet is a dust mite haven! I do think I'll add some (washable) rugs, though, to get some softer play spots.<br /> What about those rubbery puzzle squares I've seen some people use in play spaces?
