I don't have a Tula mesh, but I have heard from other moms who live in hot places that they REALLY are that much cooler.
I have a Tula Standard and a Tula Toddler, both regular canvas.
I originally had a Beco Butterfly that I LOVED! But honestly my Tula is more comfortable.

If you live in hot weather, look into a Solar Connecta! I should be getting mine any day now.. No padding like Tulas/Ergos but the body is made out of swimsuit fabric.

I have both a Tula (regular, not mesh), and a boba 3G. I didn't really need the boba, but found it used for $20 and keep it at work to use (I'm a nanny). For me, personally, the Tula is more comfortable. I like the boba for short periods of time, and it's great for my 9 month old, but I think the Tula will have a longer lifespan.

I don't think it's worth buying another carrier. Bobas are already supposed to be good, and I don't think you can babywear all day long in almost anything and feel like you aren't babywearing.

I have a Lille, both the embossed and the airflow. I do think the airflow is pretty cool, but I don't have a regular carrier to compare it with.

I have a boba 3g that I wore with my daughter. My son is 3 months now and I'm hearing all my friends rave about the Tula/Lillie. My question is for those that had both...is it worth the upgrade if you already had one??

My boba is comfortable, but I experience some back pain if I wear for extended times. And I do get sweaty, but I'm usually hot...

We live in a HOT place (Southern FL) so I'm wondering:

1) are the mesh carriers really much cooler than the regular styles?
2) is a lillie or a tula really that much more comfortable than a boba?

I've tried on a lillie and really liked it, but I didn't wear it long enough to know if it'd be that much better. A mesh one of these is like $130.
