Prenatal yoga (especially cat/cow) and a back support belt have helped me. If you have an exercise ball, try sitting on that instead of a regular chair or couch--you can roll your hips around and from side by side--it feels heavenly.

Also, this is amazing for your lower back (I have lower back issues, too). Get two tennis balls and put them in a sock. Put the tennis ball sock between you and a wall and just rotate. My husband loves that I love doing this now because his hands get a rest. I found a video explaining it on YouTube: http://youtu.be/ytVz4kBEmHg

Definitely get a maternity support belt!! I got mine just to help with exercise during pregnancy, but then started wearing it all the time to help my back and pelvic bone as my belly got bigger. I got one from Amazon for about $15 (Target has the same one for $25) and it was SO worth it.

Have you thought about getting a belly support thing? It looks like a back brace, but supports the belly. Really helped me!

my back has been KILLING me the past few nights and i can't sleep well anymore. today, i just realized i'm carrying over 8lbs of baby in me. no wonder i'm dying! lol. i still have about 7 more weeks to go and i'm already carrying the weight of a full-term baby. o, lord, i hope i last another 7 more weeks!

i think the main problems are 1. i haven't worked out at all - i did some dvd video twice this pregnancy. and 2. i've gained weight mainly on my belly. so this strain on my back is killing me. i put my fists below my lower back to sorta massage it and i feel SO heavy!

is it too late to try back-strengthening exercises? eek!
