Yes! I am carrying really low this time. I'm 22 weeks and feel like I'm about 35- there is so much pressure and hip pain, and constant kicks to the cervix lol.

@2littlepumpkins: i have been looking for new threads mentioning low lying babies!!!!

i found out mine was low around 33 weeks. i'm now at week 37. this is my second and i was so alarmed just because my first pregnancy was freakishly perfect. hate to say it but you're in for some hip pain! never overeat and keep your posture in check. I think they can wiggle back up but it seems unlikely. belly belt is apparantly helpful, I would just worry my ab muscles would be so lax postpartum if I relied on one.

I have felt like I'm carrying low, but my last ultrasound showed that baby girl was just feet down right now, and I have an anterior placenta---so ALL her kicks are right down at the vag--oof.

I'm just hoping she turns soon...

My sister was that way for her second pregnancy. She delivered around 38.5 weeks but for months had a feeling it would be even earlier.

@raintreebee: wow three hours! That sounds impossibly short compared to my first labor but I'd love to have a short labor!

I carried extremely low the whole pregnancy and gave birth at 37 weeks. The last few weeks I could barely walk. Also had a ton of hip pain. But everything was fine. He shot out of there in under 3 hours!

@creativemomma15: glad to hear you had a good outcome! The tech at my ultrasound said it just happens sometimes with second pregnancies (and I guess my first was low just not this low.) I can't help but worry though! It's uncomfortable and baby is still tiny!

I carried really low with LO2... I had delivered at 36 weeks with my 1st and my entire pregnancy with LO2 we were worried for an earlier delivery. My midwife was very concerned at 33 weeks with how low LO was that she thought I could go into labor anytime, but I carried to 38 weeks with no problems. I had a lot of hip pain from her being positioned so low for so long and definitely felt those shooting kicks & pains down low too. I hope everything is okay for you!

Did anyone else carry extremely low? My anatomy ultrasound had to be performed as low as my NT and even scans before that. I'm starting to feel consistent movement and some of it feels like kicks to the vagina. I do feel crampy at times but it's confusing because I also get GI cramps in that area. I'm only 19w- it seems way too early for this!

If you had this, did your baby ever move up? Did you give birth early?
