Sometimes one color will randomly get significantly marked down one day, then be back up the next. If you watch, you'll know when it is the right time to buy. </p> <p>Also - here's a tip for anything big like this that you can get on amazon. If you have a registry with them, you can get the completion discount. 15% if you are an amazon mom member which is free with Prime membership. Caveats: 1. It has to be within some time period of the due date you enter. 2. You can only get the completion discount once every 8 months. 3. The registry must have been active for at least 2 weeks beforehand. 4. The discount doesn't apply to everything although it applies to most items. So, I got my carseats at a significant discount since I already had a registry open from my first baby. Any strategies for getting one less than retail prices? Looks like Amazon has them for $380 right now. Are they sold at places like BRU and does their 20% off coupon apply? We don't have any near us so it would either be a trek or online order. I know quite a few bees have scored some good deals on their Cleks so I wanted to pick brains before we plunked down the cash! And one of our kitties is having surgery next week (at least $800, gah) so any cost cutting will help. </p>
