@Pepper: We had a britax and I wouldn't say it wobbled or even rattled but it wasn't like it was cemented in there.

We installed our carseat last weekend, and it's snug to the back of the back seat and doesn't budge from side to side or out from teh back of the seat at all, but when you pop the car seat off the base, the back of the base (the part at the front edge of the back seat) pops up off the back seat with the car seat. There's no way to secure that edge down at all, so I guess this is normal? Seems weird though!

My husband installed our Britax B-Safe carseat and base yesterday using the latch system. The base is firm and doesn't move, but the carseat itself wobbles/moves in the base when I try to see if it feels secure. I'm guessing this is user error, and we're going to take it to a local EMS place to have it checked... but I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem? I was hoping it was a simple fix that we missed since we're newbies to this whole thing! :)
