I see your dilemma though with the length. AJ has thinned out a lot and his carters 12 month shorts are still really roomy. I'd say he's around 20-21 lbs. I see now that Carters is selling some of the elastic waist pants like they sell at Gap. I don't remember them selling these before. I could be wrong though.
