So baby before marriage when you've said you're not ready to commit to marriage doesn't make sense to me. </p> <p>However, I do admire Catelynn and Tyler and their courageous decision to not only put their daughter up for adoption, but to also share their story on national television in hopes of helping other teens in similar situations. I think they'll be great parents, they both seem like wonderful people. Adopting out Carly gave them the chance to really live their lives for themselves - to find out what their passions are, to get educated, to establish a career and to build a healthy relationship with each other (which, I'm not sure they've ever had, but knowing what a cluster their parents are, how could they??) or with other people. I hope they've really grown in the past 5 years; but I don't know if they have. I really liked them and felt like they were the most normal, rational couple on the show. But have they really made their lives so much better that they are so much more ready for a child? I haven't seen the more recent seasons of Teen Mom, but last I knew they were shaky as a couple and still not very good at communicating. And their families are a mess and they haven't distanced themselves from them and their problems (and that was part of the reason they gave Carly up).
