@Mrsbells: I think depending on location and quality of the filling, most need to be redone within 10-15 years. (I could be wrong though.) In my case it was about 12 or 13 years before i needed it redone.

I have had one between my front teeth since I was a teen. Got it after having braces. It was always sensitive after it was filled, then it had to be redone about 2 years ago. New dentist did a much better job and now it's not noticeable.

My dentist told me I had a small one between the 2 front teeth but to floss a lot and use ACT with floride and hopefully it would stay small/go away a little bit. Who knew you could get them there?!

Yep, it ended up happening when I was pregnant actually. Which I guess isn't much of a surprise considering the frequency of my vomiting. It was the first cavity I'd had filled in years so I don't have much to compare it to, but it definitely hurt and continued to for several days afterwards! Although it may have been worse because mine was up against the gum line. But getting the shot there really sucks.

Have you ever had a cavity in your front teeth? Apparently I had a small cavity forming between two front teeth so they fixed it. Its weird because I always wrongly thought cavities would mostly form in the back teeth. It was more painful fixing the front tooth though..
