Absolutely no experience with CBD but wanted to also suggest this tea. My husband has been drinking a small cup nightly in addition to some magnesium supplements and says he is sleeping better: falling asleep faster and having deeper sleep.

Traditional Medicinals Organic Nighty Night Valerian Relaxation Tea, 16 Tea Bags (Pack of 1) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B007IW25FQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_fFm5FbWM8VRHM

I originally started taking oil for pain and anxiety but I noticed my sleep was impacted in a good way. I fall asleep quickly and have a deeper sleep with less wake ups. I still usually wake up earlier than I would like (before my alarm typically at like 5:30 ish) but I’m able to go back to sleep. I take 20mg around 730/8 pm and go to bed at like 10.

Start with about 10mg under your tongue if oil, and increase it after a few days by 5. Typically it seems people have effects with 10-30mg. I didn’t notice much until I got to 20.

I should say I don’t notice as much sleep impact if I vape. It seems faster acting, but shorter lasting. Maybe if I vaped right before bed it would be better.

I will say I was also nervous to use anything Cbd or with thc. I haven’t used anything like that in over 12 years and back then it was to get stoned ha. I only had tried weed like 5 times in my life. I was also nervous for edibles like oils or capsules because you hear these stories of people thinking it wasn’t doing anything then they end up going out of their minds when it hits. All the products I have tried have less than 1-2 mg of THC in them so it’s nearly impossible to have negative effects. I started with oil and worked up, then I tried other options out of curiosity once I was confident in my dose. I will say there are several threads on Reddit that are a wealth of knowledge. I’m lucky to have a variety of products available through our government that are regulated so that also gave me confidence.

@JJ2626: I have only used CBD oil a few times for sleep and I didn't love it. I felt really groggy in the morning. I much prefer my weighted blanket and melatonin.

So I know someone posted about CBD for anxiety recently, but I’m looking for any thoughts/suggestions on using CBD to help me sleep. My main problem is falling asleep. I’ve heard great things about CBD but am nervous and don’t know where to start. Has anyone used CBD to help them sleep? Thanks!
