I agree with @JoJoGirl, Get a FRER...aka First Response Early response. Let me add, this is different than First Response Rapid Result!! I got negs with some cheapo brand tests and FRER gave me my positives.

my cycle was regular from day 1 after bcp so anything is possible!

Go get a different brand. I think you can't read too much into it if its inconclusive.

I also recommend peeing in a cup to make sure enough urine is soaked up for the tests!

If both tests didn't have a control line, then maybe you didn't pee on them for long enough? Did you see the wetness go across the stick? I find its easiest to pee in a cup, then dip until you're sure its wet enough. Plus, that way you can redip if it doesn't seem to work.

As for when you should expect AF, most people have an LP of 12-16 days, so any day now if you don't get your BFP.

@monet11: Hmmm. @sweetchic just posted the exact same thing, I wonder if it's an entire batch that's defective?

To answer your question, your luteal phase could be as long as 16-17 days, so since this is your first cycle of BCP it's hard to predict! If you ARE KU though, a test could definitely be positive already, so go get another brand. Get a FRER.

Your body could still be regulating, but I took my test 13dpo and got a dark BFP. I say get another brand for sure! :)

Ok Ladies, I am super frustrated. So this is my first cycle off of the BCP and DH and I decided to NTNP. I started taking random OPKs just to see if my body was regulating and low and behold, on CD 23, i got a blazing positive OPK. Hubby and I DTD the next night and thought nothing of it. Now I'm on day 36, 13 DPO, and no AF (or signs of her coming). Now I know that my body is still working itself out after the hormones, but I'm starting to really freak out. So I took two pregnancy test, both which were "inconclusive"! The control line never darkened on either of them. I think i'm going to purchase a different brand later today and test again just to be safe. But my question for you all is, how many DPO should I expect AF? Am I silly to even be taken these tests, escpecially given the fact that it usually takes a few months for things to regulate post BCP?
