We used a red GMD prefold trifolded and had no issues until we potty trained at 22 months. They are REALLY absorbent and I think get a tighter leg fit then some of my others on my toddler. We have never really had a leak, but poops in them are really a pain and messy. I have to say that we definitely prefer the pocket diapers because the flip inserts move around too much with our super active daughter, and we seem to get more leaks/blowouts. But at about 11 months my kids started drinking a lot more water and really soaking their dipes. The flips just weren't keeping their skin dry enough anymore. Bummer! My cd store said using hemp would probably help, but the clerk had the same issue too. LO is 8 months - I am half tempted to sell off all our FB and BG pockets and just do Flips. Am I crazy?? Did you/do you have any absorbency issues as your baby got older? </p>
