I had a variety of covers bought used: imse vimse, thirsties, and bummis whisper wraps. I liked them all. I actually still far prefer prefolds and covers to AIOs and pockets at 6 months, so that's primarily what we use. The two months of diaper service were covered by a gift certificate from my co-workers. Actually doing the prefolds was way easier than I anticipated but it was so super bulky with a PUL or fleece cover.
