And of course as soon as there's poop, or after any potty trip. 12 hours overnight but with fleece to reduce "wetness" against the skin, and a bigger/thicker diaper with a wool cover. We've used disposables on a few trips and always change more often in them for the same reason as @blackbird: they get so smelly when wet so we change them immediately. Disposables smell more (ie the pee smells intensely right away, with cloth we don't notice it). We go about 3 hours. Sometimes 4, though. At night, I double stuff his pockets and line them with a fleece doubler. For those that are part-time or have used disposables in the past, do you find you go longer between changes with disposables vs. cloth? Does it depend on what type of cloth they're wearing (prefolds & covers vs. AIO or pockets)? Just been wondering how we compare :P
