Every parent brings in food, cake and treat bags.</p> <p>@Mrs. Jacks: Yes! BIL was telling me about it and I love everything about it. I came, we had snacks and then we did a "walk around the sun" where they discussed the important event in Lala's life to date and walked around a circle three times. They'll print out his name on a happy birthday banner, hang balloons from the ceiling, and make him a special snack that he can share with everyone. They invite the parents to come and bring a cake. We also hang out gifts for every child. And I know her teachers were singing Happy Birthday to all weeks before but not sure if "officially" there is anything in place.</p> <p>Does your center do something similar even if it's not a Montessori center? </p>
