I know they don't love to do that to the baby though unless there is imminent harm, like if you were actually having contractions(&amp; at that point they'd give you shots to stop or slow the congractions as well).<br /> You are in thoughts and I hope all goes well! Stay on that bed rest and let that baby cook for as long as possible! The most severe form of bed rest would be the trendelenberg position, but I have no idea when that is wanted and when it's not. I imagine your position is extremely scary, but I do think the cervix can stay the same for a very long time and I would be reassured by the longer measurement even though the short one is not awesome.
