However, it is dusty, so I would not do it in a carpeted room. Other than a few splotches of water, there's no mess. We have a small magnetic board from Ikea that we spray painted with chalkboard paint in the kitchen. It felt dirty to me. There was a fine layer of chalk dust everywhere... The closet doors are an off white so when you are inside the nursery it contrasts with the white baseboards/ new door....ect.</p> <p>Point being, now that we are actually going to be using this room we are going to paint the door (possibly get a new one). I was thinking since we are painting it that we would do one side as a chalk board because that seems like a fun addition.
