You still have to deal with cleaning the board and erasers but I sort of feel like cleaning up chalk is easier than white board markers. And there are also chalk markers. But I'm way biased to chalk! I also think white board markers smell very strong unless there are kid's ones? I would be worried about the markers being used on surfaces other than the white board. I'm going back and forth. Whiteboard for the cleanliness but chalkboard is easier to maintain (no dealing with markers getting dried out, on the carpet, ect.) but the chalkboard is all over the place. we have a small one and I hate the dust. So what do you think, which one? </p>
