I think you just need to pump longer (unfortunately) to get the hind milk. And/or do compressions afterwards. I always had to pump 30 minutes.

For the past few days I've noticed that the consistency of my pumped milk has changed. I just went back to work last week. When I went back to work last week, it was the usually rich looking version. Since Sunday night I've noticed that it is thin and watery like the fore milk version of my milk. I was away from LO overnight last night, and I noticed that the 5-6 times that I pumped the milk yesterday was like watery fore milk. I'm pumping at least 20 minutes per session.

I'm worried about giving LO a big bottle of fore milk. My supply had been diminishing, but it seems to be coming back.

Has anyone experienced this? Is this change permanent?
