My LO is about the same age and if she isn't showing signs of tiredness in the morning, we just skip the morning nap and put her down after lunch. If she is cranky and rubbing eyes in the morning we allow a morning nap, but wake her after 1 hour and make sure her wake time after nap 1 is at least 4 hours.

My son never fought the morning nap he just fought the afternoon nap like hell starting at 14 months so we basically switched to 1 nap. And by 15 months he was on one. I think in retrospect we could have shortened the morning nap and kept him on 2 for awhile longer. I say that Bc when we went to one nap it was exactly the length of his morning nap (1.5 hrs) and never really got any longer and there was a long cranky period.

It's on the early side I think but it's still within average. You might want to give it a shot. Try phasing out the afternoon nap and giving her an extra early bedtime since she'll probably be super tired. Might wanna consult Dr. Weissbluth's book or some other sleep book on phasing out the 2nd nap.

LO's morning napping patterns have been changing over the past week. She's been taking very long morning naps up to 2 hours. Her afternoon naps have been shorter. Is it time to move back her naps? Is this a sign she's ready to drop to one nap (I don't think it is)?
