The only other furniture was the combo unit (no hutch top) and one of those storage units with the little cubbies for toys. When we moved last year (he was 3 at the time) we painted a more grown up room (light blue with a chevron pattern in light blue, navy and orange on one wall) and converted his bed to a full. The combo unit is also in there and we are in the process of doing a closet organization system. She ended up with a facial scar that his family talks about all the time - I can barely see it. So DH was adamant that there would be nothing to climb on. At this point he's forgotten that he insisted on drawer locks for the dresser. We're not quite there yet...we want to get T walking before we convert to a toddler bed. But ive been thinking about what all I want to change, since his letters and wallart are centered over his crib I'll probably redo them, remove the rocking chair and bookshelf to make room for his toys. Right now it's not a place to play because it's full of baby supplies but I want to make it HIS space. </p> <p>How did you change from a nursery to a big boy/girl room? </p>
