Thanks for the feedback! I've used aquaphor before but maybe I just need to be more consistent about applying it regularly and putting a good amount on before bed as many of you seem to do. Thanks again!

I use Carmex on DD for now since I can apply it easier than a stick.

Mix a small spoonful of sugar and a bit of oil (enough to mix with the sugar) to make a homemade lip scrub. I just did it yesterday. The sugar will get rid of the dry flakes, and the oil will moisturize. Or you can follow-up with aquaphor or something.

For chapstick she has her own burts bees stick (so I could stop sharing!) but usually if she's getting particularly chapped I will slather her (and her chin from the lip licking that happens with the chopping) with aquaphor and that works the best. She still tries to lick it off so I glob it on thick.

We use Aquaphor on LO's very dry lips and mouth. He tends to bite under his lip during the winter, making it very red, and Aquaphor is the only thing that has helped so far.

Once I switched from fruity chapsticks (that I didn't realize she was licking off and thus drying out her lips even more so) to Carmex it's gotten so much better.

I got a vitamin E chapstick from The Body Shop, which helped heal my super dry and cracking lips! I used it daily for maybe a week and it healed my lips completely.

Not sure which board this belongs in but looking for a recommendation for something to use on my daughter's chapped lips. Her lips are perpetually dry and I'd like to use something safe for children but I've read in the past that some chapsticks actually make your lips more dry so that you'll continue using the product. Thanks for any recommendations!
