With my boys I know they are only starting to understand it(at three and four). When they would have and accident they would look up sadly and say mommy I didn't mean to, do you still love me? Of course our response is no matter what you do we will always love you. Just because we are mad doesn't mean we don't love each other, </p> <p>Don't worry he does still love you, he may just have been fighting against you for some reason. I would just continue to state that family always loves each other no matter if they are frustrated or angry. You could try asking him why he felt that way and when you say it back to him use other emotional words like mad, frustrated, upset. I feel like our bond has been broken. :(</p> <p>He apologized this afternoon for not loving me, and said he loved me again... but that just made me feel worse. It means it wasn't just my imagination - he really did stop loving me.</p> <p>I know that kids can be fickle at time, and I'm just gonna wait this one out. But I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't sad about the whole thing! Being a parent can be tough going, but a child's love makes it all feel worthwhile. Take that away, and you're just left with the tough part.</p> <p>I hope he comes around eventually! </p>
