They have lived there for 14 years and it is amazing how much the area has grown. I'd also recommend you look in the Fort Mill, SC area as well. Starting to look in the Charlotte area as my dad is going to move there as well. We won't be tied to a location because of jobs (both of us will work remotely), so hoping to be near the lake and in a good community. The big thing for us is that we want a cheaper home.... somewhere under 300k.</p> <p>Any thoughts on the area and/or recommendations? </p>
