I can try to figure out how to share older charts tonight, but pretty consistently my temps stay high right up until ovulation. This morning my temp was low again. I did have a chart in April where my temps stayed high right until fertile CM, and I had a .02 temp jump followed by another .02 temp jump, suggesting ovulation on day 19.

It could be alcohol, I suppose- I often have one or two drinks during/after my period.

Thanks for your input- I will try to share the other charts tonight.

Could you share your previous charts, too? The current one doesn't have enough temps on it to confirm ovulation in my opinion. If you have o'd it was probably on cd16, but you need a few more days to confirm. Is there anything you are doing pre-O that could be affecting those temps and keeping them high? When I charted I noticed that alcohol made my temps much higher the next day. I just kept track of when I had a glass or two of wine so I wouldn't read into those higher temps.

I read something about that once. Of course, now I can't remember where I read it. I seem to remember that the high temps early on could have to do with lower estrogen. As far as whether you O or not, you'd have to look at the whole chart.

And I have a slower thermal shift too. I think it's pretty common.

I'm a little baffled by my chart. I have had a few confusing ones since I began charting in March, but I wasn't trying to conceive so I sort of let them go. When I showed the charts to my midwife at the pre-conception visit, she said she thought it looked like I was ovulating every month.

One trend is that typically my temps stay high until right before I get fertile CM. I can't find much about this in Taking Charge of Your Fertility, but it makes identifying the "cover line" pretty challenging.

I have also noted that I seem to have a slower thermal shift after ovulation. But I"m freaking myself out thinking that there has been at least one month in which I didn't ovulate, and that this month might be similar- based on the lack of a thermal shift so far.

Here is my chart for this month so far: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3be9e6

thoughts? & thank you in advance!
