I end up shelling out the extra $ and getting the digital ones as well. I was afraid that I would read too much into lighter lines, etc.

I used the wondfo OPK strips for 2 months and never got a positive. Luckily I chart and definitely O'd both months or I think I would have gotten nervous for no reason!

I had a hard time getting clear positive's using the OPKs with the lines..... I've since switched to the Smiley's ( ClearBlue digital) - i've gotten a clear positive the last 3 months i have used them!

You were all right...and I was impatient. Started testing later in the day, and I got my first positive at 10:00pm last night and a SUPER strong positive this afternoon at 3:00. Definitely was just testing too early and too soon.
Thanks!

Definitely worth trying them later in the day - LH surges can occur at any time, though my instructions always tell me to check between 12-8pm.

Oh wow, really? So maybe I'm just testing too early in the day. It might be too late for this cycle, but that's good to know.

If I did my OPKs at 2:30 I would likely never see a real positive. I do mine at 4PM and if I get a second line I do another one at 8PM. I always get the positive at 8PM.

Some women don't get super dark OPKs. I would go off of your temperature in your case. Honestly, go by what you know. This month, I'm charting and using OPKs. I usually get a positive OPK around CD10. The temps if I'm doing it correctly will verify when I ovulate.

I'm frustrated with my OPK strips because they're half-darker and half-lighter than the control line. I have no idea what that means. :-/ Do you chart your CM? That might provide some insight into the situation...

Okay, so I should probably just wait until tomorrow to see if my temps stay up, but I'm going a little psycho here.

I just started using OPKs this cycle, both first thing in the morning and early afternoon (around 2:30pm). They've been completely negative since CD11 when I started using them. Monday morning I got a light second line (still negative, according to the packaging), and Tuesday morning my temps shot way up. They're still up as of this morning, but judging by my usual cycles, I'm not due to O until Thursday or Friday.
What's your experience with OPKs? Is it possible that my slight line was actually a positive? I've been testing 2x/3x per day, and I've never had a line any darker (or ever again).
Help!
