@lizzywiz: glad May is better! It must be so frustrating to not have an official diagnosis. That's not something we're short on...

DS2 gets his broviac out tomorrow! It's so weird how him having surgery is now NBD and I'm taking him alone and aren't even really freaked out about it since I know what to expect. You can get used to anything I guess...

April was medium bad but May has been great. She has grown and that means when her airway swells it doesn't restrict her oxygen as much = less hospital visits! Also her lungs have been clear since about mid April.
May has been the least amount of illness or medication since November, so we are super hopeful that we may be through the worst of whatever her respiratory problem is. I would still like a diagnosis, but the best I've gotten so far is a medical journal article entitled "When Croup is not Croup" and it describes something similar to LO's illness but doesn't name it. :bummed:

@beaker: @Mrs Green Grass: so happy to hear that your LOs are doing (relatively) well!

@Mrs Green Grass: Zero? How odd! Is that within the error margin of the test?

That's great news! Everything is great over here except that Dylan tested as having zero iron so we are working on that, but otherwise all good.

Just wanted to see how everyone & their LOs have been doing. I've been on HB much less and hope I haven't missed anything major from you ladies. What's going on in your worlds?

DS2 is doing really well, he recently passed a swallow study using baby food, meaning he is allowed to eat baby food via his mouth now! They recommended that we retest liquids again in 6 months. He still has the broviac line in simply because the stupid hospital hasn't scheduled the surgery to remove it yet, he's been off IV fluids for over a month. His PT and OT are both going well, although he doesn't seem to like the PT place (so far OT is at home) and is mad the whole time, even though when I replicate the exercises at home he's fine.
