Very interesting and easy. I don't know much about credit scores at all so it was interesting to see what they based the score on.<br /> One of the main reasons I have a lower score is pretty much because of my age, since I couldn't have any accounts until I was 18 and I'm only 24, it marked be as a "C" in that area. I also got a "C" for not having ENOUGH credit cards. Or just curious? Before we bought our house we wanted to know my husband's scores, so we just paid for it. Most of the "free" stuff seemed shady or you had to sign up for some kind of monthly program and cancel. I think the algorithm that the 3 main credit reporting agencies each use to determine their score is proprietary, so creditkarma uses their own formulation. The only one I do know of is Discovercard. It's such a great website! You can get your credit score at ANY time, check the balances on all your loans, see when dings from past hard inquiries are expiring, etc. I think it's a great way to make sure nothing fishy is going on.
