I'm sorry to hear that.

I am pretty sure I had a CP in January (2nd cycle TTC). I felt nauseous to the point that I threw up a few times, tired, uterus was going crazy, and I just felt pregnant overall (I already have 1 LO) and then AF showed up after about a week of these symptoms. I ended up getting a real BFP on cycle 5. Big hugs!

I sorry for your loss!

I had an early miscarriage - 6 wks along. I was told to wait a cycle to try again and did, and then got pregnant on our 3rd cycle trying again. I have a happy healthy 17 month old now. I did worry a lot early in my pregnancy but I'm the worrying type. Chances are you will get pregnant again soon and it will stick!

so sorry for you! :heart:

I've had 3 CPs and one success (#3 of my 4 BFPs so far). it's definitely the exception to have it happen that many times though - many people have one here and there even if they don't know about it. if you have several in a row - time to talk to your doctor and get checked out because there are underlying things they can test for, but you are a long way from that yet!

fingers crossed the next one is sticky!!

I'm so sorry :(

My first loss was super early (4+1), and I conceived again on the next cycle. I lost that one at 6w, though. BUT, with one more month off, I am now 16 weeks pregnant.

Sending you so many hugs. I hope that it happens for you soon.

@sarac: I'm so sorry.

I had what I assume was a chemical pregnancy during cycle 6. Felt like I had the flu, faint positive on the test one day (even DH could see it) the day before AF was due, gone the next day and AF showed up as normal.

I got pregnant again during cycle 10, and miscarried, and got pregnant a third time during cycle 13, which resulted in my son. So yes, I went on to conceive again.

Honestly, I think chemical pregnancies and early miscarriages are more common than we normally think, but most women aren't aware of it unless they know their cycles well or are actively trying. It sucked ass, but we desperately wanted a child so I shook it off and kept going.

Big hugs!

Thank you all - I'm really not tremendously sad about it. Mostly just irritated that now I'll have to worry about this in future pregnancies, if I ever even manage it again.

It's just so disappointing. It was especially irritating to go from saggy post-breastfeeding boobs to happy, full, pregnant boobs. And then right back again a few days later. That physical sign really drove home the reality of it. Sorry, no baby here.

((hugs)) I'm so sorry. You literally wrote my last cycle... I had some usual pre-AF spotting and ended up with a BFP on a Sunday. The spotting was on and off. Saturday turned to bleeding and got worse. By Sunday it was in full force. This is our first cycle post-CP and I'm in the TWW so who knows right now. I keep thinking positively, telling myself that it's a good sign that I can in fact get pregnant! And that's half the battle. Feel free to wall me if you want to talk more <3

Well, I just had a chemical pregnancy. Four days of puking, decreased appetite, ovarian cramping, sore, big boobs. I was ecstatic. Then it just went away, and a week later I got my period. What a bummer.

Has anyone else had one of these and then had a successful conception? I'm never going to be able to relax if I ever do get pregnant another time.
