It's been a decent car for the money, but it's starting to have some issues pop up. Nothing huge, the most annoying thing is that the dinger/warning lights aren't working right now - so if you leave the lights on or have low fuel you don't notice right away. </p> <p>There's also a recall on something with the ignition switch right now. Basically, there's a chance the key could fall out/turn off while you're driving if you have a lot of keychains on the ignition key. Was a great little car, not awesome on fuel, but decent enough for the commute I did with it! It was great in gas and roomy in the back. I took my dog (60lb) on road trips in it all the time. He likes it, but I find the interior kind of cheapy and it's small and uncomfortable to ride in. The backseat has like .2" of leg room. We are looking at one as our second car. Our other car is our family friendly crossover suv.</p> <p>We have a monster commute, so we want something that's fuel efficient, but can still fit our whole family plus gear in a bind. That would be me, DH, LO (in a car seat) and a 50lb dog. Would we all fit? DH is not very tall, so leg space isn't a huge deal.</p> <p>Curious if this is one we should check out. Our budget is about 6k so we are looking at an 07 model. If you have another suggestion in that range, I'm all ears as well.</p> <p>Eta: usually it would just be DH riding solo in this vehicle. </p>
