It's ok. My little one loves it ... I usually do oats + chia (plus almond milk, vanilla and cinnamon). She prefers it with berries. Great, healthy breakfast.

I made chia pudding with coconut milk and added fresh fruit. I put mangos in it. It was yummy!

So today wasn't too bad. I think I needed to stir it more. I did like 1/4c seeds and 1c or less chocolate almond milk. It could use to be a bit sweeter and the top was a little dry so maybe more liquid.

@T.H.O.U.: I make mine with unsweetened coconut milk...it adds the sweetness I need..

Sometimes I use almond milk but I prefer coconut...

@T.H.O.U.: I've never used almond milk, but I have used regular milk and canned coconut milk, and both worked. I usually add some honey or a little sugar and vanilla along with the cocoa powder for chocolate pudding. I probably wouldn't add a sweetener to sweetened almond milk. The chia isn't sweet at all, so it won't change the flavor of whatever milk/sweetener you use.

@T.H.O.U.: if you use cocoa powder you'll probably need a sweetener like maple syrup. Cocoa powder is bitter.

Bump. Any secrets to this? I've got almond milk in chocolate or vanilla. I feel like the chocolate almond milk is kinda sweet anyways. Do I need a sweetener? Do I need extra cocoa powder?

Yes! I've just been doing this the past couple of weeks and it is so good! I mix it with coconut milk, water, vanilla and cinnamon for a vanilla flavor and add cocoa powder for a chocolate flavor. I think fruit flavors with fruit juice would be so good, too!

I eat it with sliced bananas and berries or add it to smoothies.

Yes, I soaked some in almond milk overnight. I think I used honey to sweeten it the next morning....the texture was kinda weird but it was tasty.
