This is different that a typical travel system because it can be used as just a frame for the car seat. I like it.

I tried this one out in the store and liked it. I especially liked that you can use it without the seat as a carseat carrier until they're older. It felt like it steered smoothly, and it has the one-handed fold. In the end, we went with the B-Agile because my husband thought it felt sturdier.

Can you put the baby in the main seat as a newborn (does it recline fully?). Or do you have to use the car seat until they're old enough for the main seat? That would be my only hesitation. It looks nice!

@Mrs. Pickle: I had a travel system I guess--the britax B Ready (with the britax B Safe infant seat, plus the bassinet) and I have really, really liked having it the past 22 months. Am planning on using it for LO #2 as well.

No experience in the Bravo, but just wanted to tell you my positive experience with a travel system in general.

I love in an urban walkable area and drove only a handful of times on my Mat leave, so I appreciated a bigger stroller with a big basket.

@Mrs. Pickle: I think that is a regular stroller, you can buy it separately (I think), just not one of the brand name ones. It looks very much like the brand name ones though! Much different than when I had dd.

I know I'm in the minority but we had a graco snug ride infant seat and lite rider travel system and didn't have any issues with it! It was easy to snap in and use as a frame in the earlier months and we used it w ease as a regular stroller when Ds was 5.5/6 months! We did upgrade to a nice umbrella stroller but we would've done that anyway w a stroller frame! If anything the lite rider gave us more time before having to purchase an umbrella stroller. It wasn't cumbersome and wasn't a heavy stroller either.

We are doing the Chicco keyfit and stroller caddy for ds2 because we need a new infant seat and already have the gluxe for him to transition to, but we kept the lite rider for my parents' house, haven't had any issues w it!

Id def chk out in store!

@Mrs. Pickle: I haven't actually seen that one before! I guess in general I just have a bad impression of travel systems...but maybe they have solved those issues with this model! Definitely worth a look in the store!

@hilsy85: it looks like a regular stroller to me, but that's probably because I don't know anything!

can I ask why you would go with that rather than a regular stroller (city mini, one of the britax strollers, uppa baby cruz, etc) with a car seat adaptor? They basically function the same but I think the quality and ease of use in a regular stroller is much better!

I had the chicco cortina travel system. I hated it and would never get a travel system if I had to do it over again. I would do a snap and go first and then get a nice stroller.

@Mrs. Pickle we just bought this for our son who is due in August! We tried out a lot of strollers and liked this one the best. So, I'll let you know then how we like it - but we went out a limb and got it!

Does anyone have or has anyone tested the Chicco Bravo? I'm thinking of registering for the Chicco Bravo Trio travel system, but I did a search on travel systems and a lot of the old threads had negative things to say about travel systems. I'm at the beginning stages of researching for gear and definitely plan to test drive some strollers before deciding.
