CFA didn't do the best possible job of controlling their message.</p> <p>If you look at the actual quotes that the org gave, they talk about treating people equally and say that they will take a closer look at the organizations they consider funding. If you compare that to what's in this article ("anti-gay donations," "a culture of discrimination") there's a pretty wide delta driven largely by an activist group. In PR, you never ever want to let that happen...</p> <p>In any case, probably too much mass communications inside baseball for this forum! The recent policy reveral is much more in line with my personal beliefs, although I support the right for business owners to run their business how they'd like to.
