I asked my OB about it too, and she said just don’t eat it every day, but its fine to eat on a regular basis. Generally it's supposed to be safe if the salad is constantly refrigerated (or kept on ice) from when it's made until you eat it, but of course when you order from a deli you never know how long it's been sitting out. I've been taking my chances since I love sandwiches and deli meat is a no-no... but my tummy's not happy with the chicken salad sub I just ate from our local pizza place. :(</p> <p>Did you take your chances with chicken and tuna salad? </p>
