Thank goodness it's in my husbands car since I can't get her secured in well enough. I'm hoping to change out the shoulder covers to the new ones to see if if makes it any better. If not, we may end up getting a different seat because she hates it that much. I'm really hoping yours is better! I've struggled with tightening the straps (feels like I will break my hand or wrist some days) since we installed it last year. Other than that, we love it. Push the shoulder pads down as close to the chest clip as you can before tightening. Since the straps tighten from the shoulder holes, the shoulder pads get pulled back into the seat and put up a lot of resistance.<br /> 2. Don't buckle the chest clip until AFTER you've tightened the straps. For whatever reason, the straps tighten much easier when the chest clip is unbuckled. Holy crap is it hard to tighten the straps. At least I will get a good arm workout twice a day.
