Three care providers is tough. How can you be sure that he is on a schedule when you have three different people taking care of him? It's very hard to find two or three days a week. So my vote would be that you replace MIL. My Mom has LO 3 days per week and my MIL has him 2 days a week. MIL just told us that starting in May she can only take LO 1 day per week.</p> <p>I think that having 3 care providers (Mom, MIL, Daycare) is too much.</p> <p>There are a few ways we can handle this - ask my mom to take on another day (will be tough for her).</p> <p>Try to cut down my hours at work - would result in a pay cut</p> <p>Put him in daycare 2 days per week and not have MIL involved with childcare - might not go over very well as there is a good chance we will be seen as not 'letting' MIL take the baby.</p> <p>Hire a nanny for 1 day per week.</p> <p>I am just really uncomfortable with the though of him having 3 different providers.</p> <p>What are your thoughts? </p>
